A: Most bank products offer different ways to collect fees from their clients. The fee buckets contain preparation fees, bank fees, processor fees. Service bureau fees is a processor fee. There is nothing special about it, it is a fee that your customer is charged for using your service.

Q: I’ve never used this software before, where can I find tutorials, guides, and training?

A: Free software doesn't mean a whole lot if you don't know how to use it - we ensure each and every client is fully trained and comfortable with the software. We provide live, online, instructor-led training sessions in order to show you how to create a return, set up users, set your default template, set your prices, and submit a return. Additionally, we provide user guides, quick reference guides, tips-and-tricks, and other helpful documents for you and your office. We also have a members-only training site you can access anytime for online training videos, cheat-sheets, and resource information. We usually schedule live, online training with you upon providing the software logins, but you can call us anytime to schedule a live training session - these typically take 1 to 2 hours.

A: We support Santa Barbara Tax Products Group (TPG), and EPS.

Q: What's the process for registering with the bank?

A: Once you sign up with us, we will send you a registration or we will call you to fill out the application. You will also need to send in your EFIN letter to us. We have to verify we are working with professional tax preparers.

Once they tell us you're approved, we'll let you know you can proceed, and you will then complete your registration on the bank's website, create an online account, and set up your personal bank account with them. Closer to tax season, the bank will provide your check stock and marketing materials.
